After doing basketball in PE, a team was chosen from the girls and boys in Years 7 and 8. This led onto a competition which was held at the new Eagles Basketball arena on Friday 1^st March after school.

As always there was a very competitive edge to the game because it was against other Gosforth schools: Junior High and Gosforth Central in particular! All teams played excellently as per usual and the end result was GEMS came 2nd place!
