LONDON 2018!

On the 13th of June 2018 year 8 went on a trip to London. It was amazing!

Our itinerary was full to the brim-including 2 shows, 2 restaurant meals and lots of sightseeing. Our first port of call after arrival and checking in was Kensington Gardens for lunch. After enjoying a delicious lunch we headed to the science museum (Are you proud Miss Hudson?). The next thing on our list was a boat ride down the Thames to then walk past the Tower of London on our way to TGI Friday’s for our evening meal. The last thing for that day was going to see the incredible ‘School of Rock’. Everyone in the cast was so talented it really made for an entertaining show, which everyone loved.

Our second day was even busier than the first.  Our day started out with a ride on the London Eye but nothing’s ever ordinary in our school - at the top of the London Eye one of our pods full of people went from calm sightseeing to dance battles.  Then after our adventures on the London Eye we went on a tour of all the Westminster highlights, had lunch in Hyde Park and then made our way to Madame Tussauds. After taking hundreds of pictures with our favourite wax-works it was then time for our meal at Prezzo.

After out tasty meal we had 15 minutes free-time for shopping before heading off to see our second show ‘Wicked’.  Unfortunately the trip had to come to an end and although we were sad to leave our last day was still brilliant.  We spent our last day shopping in Covent Garden - spoiling ourselves and our very deserving parents was very worth it.  A momentous moment of our trip was buying our pink hoodies, which we still wear now.

We enjoyed our final lunch in the park and to then check out ready to go home.

On the train we said goodbye to Miss Fothergill and settled down as we were all exhausted from our jam packed trip. London was amazing but by the end I think we were ready to go home.  It was truly amazing and I think we will remember the experience for a long time.
