SING OUT LOUD!
The Pyramid choir concert, made up of pupils from GEMS, Gosforth Central, Gosforth Junior High and Gosforth Academy, took place on July 4th. We had spent a few months learning some new songs; Country Roads by John Denver, Another Day of Sun from La La Land, Viva La Vida by Coldplay and Let Love Shine Through (which was mainly sung by Gosforth Voices). On some days, after school, we had rehearsals and we worked hard to perfect our numbers!

There was also a wind band, a string group a fusion band and a ceilidh band which where all ready to play their hearts out.
On the big day, we practised at Whitley Bay Playhouse ready for the big night. The night came too soon when our parents/guardians rushed us to the playhouse and we were all cramped into our changing rooms. But the night went brilliantly with everyone showcasing their talent to the full. It ended all too quickly; on a high, we all grabbed our belongings and went out into the pouring rain. It was a great night.
