This event took place on the 12th of November when most parents of Year 5 pupils came into school to see the work that had been done by their sons and daughters during the term and especially in Topic. Their stone age homework was on display outside the classroom. Some children had made models out of food so the teachers took photos to add to the display. We wouldn’t have liked mouldy food on display would we! All of the parents enjoyed looking at the work and were very impressed by the quality of the models.

Wonder what it feels like to live in these homes?

The open afternoon ended at 3:20 and the children then went home with some very proud parents.

‘I really enjoyed the afternoon. It was lovely seeing the students’ fabulous work. They are clearly very enthusiastic!’ Mrs Cousins, Year 5 parent.
