Well done 5.1 maths group for once again winning the Sumdog Newcastle competition with an average of 489 (were the others asleep?). From the 11th to the 17th of March, the local maths competition took place and 5.1 were eager to win once again, which of course they did.

 

Daniel came in 1st place and Luke 2nd so a very special well done to them both.  Mr Mills, the teacher of 5.1,  is very proud because it shows that they love and enjoy maths. He didn’t really think they would win because they won last time so others would try to beat them this time (Mr Mills was wrong :-) If there is another SUMDOG competition, Mr Mills is confident that 5.1 will win again...now that sounds like a challenge to me.
