On 21st March a small group of 9 students from Year 5 and Year 6 represented Gosforth East Middle School in the Gosforth Swimming Gala at Gosforth Pool. These students were Isobel, Zachary, Olivia, Sophie, Adam, Jed, Isla, Emily and Harry.

All pupils competed to a high level against tough competition and we were thrilled that each of our 9 students returned to school with at least one medal and a team position of 3rd overall in the competition.

We were very proud of their excellent behaviour and sportsman-like attitude throughout the afternoon. They were a credit to GEMS.
