On the 6^th of July, hundreds of ecstatic Y8 had a fun filled day waiting for them.  At 9:15, the Year 8s travelled the 2 hour drive to North Yorkshire to enjoy a sunny day at the exhilarating theme park. This trip was a treat to celebrate their ‘wonderful’ time at GEMS and to wish for good things for the future.

When we got there we got our tickets and then scattered off.  Many went to the longest ride in Europe, The Ultimate or the terrifying Black Pearl.

Lightwater valley has many popular rides: The Ultimate, The Eagles Claw, Raptor Attack, The Black Pearl and many more. Most of the children went on each ride  at least twice because they loved them so much.

We all met up at 12:30 to eat lunch and make sure that everyone was still alive-joke! Every one enjoyed Light water Valley and made many lovely memories. For some people, this trip was the highlight of their year.
