Pantomime

On Monday 3rd of December, the Year Sevens and Eights were extremely lucky and went to the theatre for a Christmas treat- oh yes we did (sorry)! There were a number of coaches parked in the GEMS car park because there were so many children going to the pantomime. Once we all piled onto the coaches with our classes, we were already in the  festive spirit.

Once we arrived, we were allowed to sit next to whoever we wanted. In the interval, we had the opportunity to buy ice cream, andmost people had pre-ordered it. The pantomime was fantastic and was a brilliant version of the classic Peter Pan. It had GEMS’s very own Holly, staring as one of the lost boys and she represented our school extremely well; we are all very proud of her.

At the end of the pantomime, four students from our school had the courage to get up on stage and sing Baby Shark, alongside Mr Thompson. They did amazingly and it was hilarious. It is definitely a must see pantomime!
