Some children had a very exciting day on June the 25^th. We went on a full day bike ride to Ponteland. 26 lucky students went on this exciting trip. As it was a sunny day this was a very exhausting trip, but everyone said it was worth it when we got to Ponteland Park.

We cycled for about 2 and a half hours, 8.9 miles. Before we came to the park., we sat on the edge of the bridge to enjoy our lunch.

After our lunch we had the choice of playing rounders or playing in the lake. We obviously chose playing in the lake, although some people did fall in and get drenched.

Some people started fishing with their nets and it was a huge success. There were some fish in the lake and we caught one of them. When we finally were too cold we left for school. We got to school five minutes early and left for home.

So much had happened on this exhausting day! In total we cycled around 17.8 miles.
