On the Friday after the SATs week (yippee, they’re over) the Year 6s went for a treat to … WET ‘N’ WILD! We left in the morning for Regent Centre. It was quite a complicated journey which ended with us walking, crocodile fashion, to the venue.

When we got there, there was a bit of a struggle to get lockers and changing rooms sorted out but, eventually, we go our first hour on the slides. The slides are so much fun but we were happy when we got the chance to go into the pool for an hour.

After  lunch, we jumped straight into the wave pool. The wave pool is super exciting. We were also allowed on the slides and into the other pools. We had had the whole place to ourselves for the day and so were very sad :’( when we had to leave, but we had enjoyed our day very much.

It was a great way to end our SATs week with the stresses and strains of the months of preparation washed away by the relaxing waters and exhilarating slides of Wet ‘n’ Wild.

Everyone eager to get in
