The selection process works as follows: - Teachers and members of staff nominate pupils in Year 8 who they think will make a good job of leading each house. They each give a speech where they highlight their qualities and speak about school issues about which they are passionate to their house.  After the speeches, pupils vote for who they think should become House Captain. The votes are counted and all the nominees are told who has been chosen after having received the most votes from their peers.

We are sure the teachers agree that all of the nominees’ speeches were very good. We were all very impressed by how well written and delivered their speeches were. The new House and Vice Captains are always willing to help pupils out and will listen to any suggestions, concerns or worries that they have. If you would like to talk to one of them, just look out for their badges.
