Jeans for Genes Day

On Friday the 23rd of September the whole school was allowed to wear jeans for a day to raise money for people with genetic disorders. One in every twenty five children is born with a genetic disorder and there are 500,000 children currently in the UK that have these conditions. The school raised about £500 to send to this charity. Well done! Mrs Bullock said ‘It was nice to see lots of pupils wearing jeans to help raise money for charity. Everybody who came in jeans brought a pound. THANK YOU!’

We spoke to some pupils and they said, it was great fun. One of the newer pupils, who just joined Year 5, said they loved not having to wear school uniform and wished to do it again.
